Team Defenders Rucking Club

Saturday, April 25, 2026

Starting December 27th, 2025, we will be hosting a morning ruck on the 4th Saturday of each month at 0930 am. Our rucks are free and open to the public, family, and pet-friendly.

What is Rucking? Rucking is a physical activity where individuals walk carrying weight over distance. Individuals typically wear a backpack/rucksack or weighted vest during the event. There isn't a set weight requirement for our rucks. Individuals can decide how much weight they are comfortable carrying.

Our average distance will start at three miles and gradually go up as participants get accustomed to the weight and distance. Our max ruck distance will not exceed six miles, unless we give notice ahead of time. Please be sure to wear appropriate socks, shoes/boots, and clothing (based on weather). Lastly, please ensure you bring a source of water (Camelback). We will have water available, but please come prepared.
